Kalpathy Rathotsavam 6th to 16th November, 2024

This year's Rathotsavam at Kalpathy will be conducted from 06 to 16* November, 2024 by the four participating Temples, Sree Visalakshi Sametha Viswanatha Swamy Kovil, Kalpathy, Mandakkarai Sree Maha Ganapathy Kovil, New Kalpathy, Sree Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Kovil, Old Kalpathy and Sree Prasanna Maha Ganapathy Kovil, Chathappuram in accordance with the Vedas, Sastraas, Agamaas and Acharas.
Rathams will roll down the Gramaveethis for three days, on November 13, 14 and 15, mainly at evenings. On the first day, 3 Rathams will move, next day 4 Rathams and on the final day, 6 Rathams will roll.
Utsava Rituals, Japa-Puja-Homa-Archana-Abhishekam and Chathurvedapaaraayanam, recital of Rig-Yaju-Sama-Atharvana Veda Manthrams will be conducted in the Kshethras, processions of the Deities will be taken out through the Villages on these days at various times.
